Know before you go
The rules of the grounds, what to bring, and how to get here.
Bring this
- Valid government-issued photo ID — checked at entry, no exceptions
- A bank card or M-Pesa — the festival is cash-free
- Your ticket, on your account or printed
- Sunscreen, hats, earplugs, and comfortable shoes
- Prescription medication
- Your phone — it goes into a sealed case on entry, with a sticker over the camera
- Handheld cameras, including film and one-time-use cameras
Leave this home
- Outside food or drink, including alcohol
- Illegal substances of any kind
- Weapons, explosives, fireworks, and flares
- Professional recording equipment, unless authorised in advance
- Drones, and anything staff deem dangerous
Bags and persons may be searched at entry.

Getting there
- The venue
- Temple Point, Watamu, Kilifi County — on the Kenyan coast.

- Staying on site
- Accommodation packages cover three nights in a Cozy or Boutique room, two people per room. Everyone staying needs a festival ticket.
Accessibility
- Terrain
- The terrain at Temple Point may be challenging for people with certain disabilities. Contact the festival in advance and we will do what we can to help.
- Medical care
- There are several medical stations on the grounds, plus roaming medical staff throughout the festival. Ask any member of staff for help.

Buying tickets for friends
Buy up to 10 tickets in one order — no names or emails needed now. After you pay, transfer each friend’s ticket to them from My tickets, any time up to one week before the festival. They claim it with their own name and ID.

Pick everyone’s tickets
As many as you need, days and passes mixed, in one order.

Pay once
Your ticket is ready straight away. Your friends’ wait on your account, marked “To transfer”.

Transfer each ticket
Open My tickets, choose “Transfer” and enter your friend’s email.

Your friend claims it
They add their own details and accept the terms; the ticket is then theirs, QR code and all.
Transfers close one week before the festival. A ticket that hasn’t been transferred and claimed by then is not valid for entry and is not refunded. Until your friend claims it you can resend the invite or send it to a different address. Everyone needs their own ticket and their own ID at the gate.
